Adam Black
LEAD Pastor
Adam has served as Lead Pastor at Woodland since June 1, 2023. Adam is married to his wife Tabitha and they have 2 daughters, Nori and Lily. Adam is a native of Buncombe County and a graduate of Enka High School. Following graduation from High School, he joined the Air Force where he served for 6 years. Adam is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible College and has served in various roles in his 16 years of ministry. Adam is passionate about relational discipleship and gospel centered community.
Adam loves spending time at the lake with his family and friends and all things sports! Everything from the Carolina Panthers, Tarheels, Gamecocks to F1 racing and golf!

Ethan Conners
Worship/FAMILY Pastor
Ethan has served as Youth Pastor since July of 2021 and Worship Pastor since September of 2022. He has been married to Hannah Conners since June 2020. Ethan has served in ministry since 2018 and is a graduate of Truett McConnell University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing which included minors in the Great Commission and Christian Ministry. Ethan has a passion for discipleship, and his interests include sports, weight lifting, video games, guitar, and camping.

Lay Pastor
Tony and Jackie Stiles have been members at Woodland for many years.
Kendra Buckner
Kid's director
Kendra has served as the Kid's Director since January of 2026. Kendra is married to Bryson and is the mother to twins, Kane and Kadence. Kendra is passionate about helping children discover Gods love in meaningful, age-appropriate ways. With a heart for ministry and a deep commitment to families, Kendra leads programs that create a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment for children and families to grow spiritually. Outside of ministry Kendra enjoys going to the gym, going to her family's sporting events, reading, and being with friends.
June Rhinehart
administrative Assistant
June has served as Administrative Assistant at Woodland Baptist Church for several years. She has been married to her husband Donald for 50 years. They have one son, Justin. She is a member of Mountain Joy, a Southern Gospel singing group.
