Senior Pastor Alan Davis
Pastor Alan and his wife Jenee’ were married in the fall of 1986. They have three children, son Jesse, and two daughters, Sara and Rachel. Pastor Alan is a native of Haywood County, N.C. and was raised on a cattle farm in the Crabtree Community. He spent 10 years on the Professional Rodeo Circuit before surrendering to God to preach the Word. Pastor Alan is a 1999 graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute with an Associate degree in Church Ministry. He has attended and completed classes at New Orleans Seminary. He will start working on his Masters degree of Church Ministry this spring with Andersonville. Pastor Alan was called as Senior Pastor of Woodland Baptist early in 1999. Prior to that He was the Senior Pastor of James Chapel Baptist Church. He has served on the board of directors of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and on the Pisgah Baptist Camp Committee. Pastor Alan also served two terms as the President of the Haywood Baptist Pastors Conference. Alan is the current president of the Smoky Mountain Baptist Fellowship Pastor Alan loves to pray for, prepare and preach, expository sermons. He has a heart to see people come to repentance and a saving faith in Jesus Christ and also to see Christians discipled in Christ to bring glory to God.
worship/Student Pastor, Jon Nahlen
Pastor Jon is currently attending Fruitland Baptist Bible College and will be graduating in March with an AA in church ministry. Prior to coming to WBC he was a pastoral intern at First Baptist Church Hendersonville, leading worship and working with youth. Jon also helps to lead worship at Fruitland in their daily chapel services.
